Job Description
Advocate Aurora Health is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Stroke to join the exceptional team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including those with neurological conditions and other complex medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using evidence-based practice.
- Assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness.
- Anticipate and respond to changes in patient conditions, mobilize resources, and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
- Facilitate patient education, discharge planning, and safety strategies.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Completion of an accredited Nursing program.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Proficient computer skills and excellent communication abilities.
