Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and welcoming for our customers. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Assist customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of meeting physical demands and safely handling products.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous retail experience is an asset.
• A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
