Job Description
We are looking for a Store Management Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Management Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of effectively managing a store, preparing you for a future leadership role. Your responsibilities will include supervising store activities, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational plans while nurturing and guiding the team.
Position Details
- Type: Full-Time
- Estimated Hours: 45 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $30.00 per hour
- Year 1 Earning Potential: Up to $119,000 (including salary and bonuses, location-dependent)
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations to deliver exceptional customer service
- Communicate and promote company core values to foster team unity
- Address customer concerns and maintain store appearance
- Manage staff hiring, scheduling, and training
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Oversee inventory management and merchandising
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of budgeting and operational principles
- Ability to operate relevant store equipment
