Job Description

We are looking for a Store Management Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Management Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of effectively managing a store, preparing you for a future leadership role. Your responsibilities will include supervising store activities, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational plans while nurturing and guiding the team.

Position Details

  • Type: Full-Time
  • Estimated Hours: 45 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $30.00 per hour
  • Year 1 Earning Potential: Up to $119,000 (including salary and bonuses, location-dependent)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily store operations to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Communicate and promote company core values to foster team unity
  • Address customer concerns and maintain store appearance
  • Manage staff hiring, scheduling, and training
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Oversee inventory management and merchandising

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of budgeting and operational principles
  • Ability to operate relevant store equipment
