Job Description

We are hiring a Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi, a dynamic and customer-focused company. As a vital part of the team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your role will involve interacting with customers, collaborating with colleagues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Handle customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and report to management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
  • Follow company policies, maintain security of data, and perform assigned tasks.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous service.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and equipment.
  • Capable of meeting physical demands and performing cleaning tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions efficiently.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
  • Combination of education and experience is valued.
