Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide outstanding customer service and support the store's day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies in your role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and report to store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock levels.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures to minimize discrepancies.
• Follow established company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Able to perform general cleaning tasks and follow company standards.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
