Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure well-organized merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with a friendly approach
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accuracy in inventory monitoring
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Work effectively both independently and as a team member
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
