Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks, including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will be crucial in enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers, ensuring exceptional service and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange shelves and displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Follow cash policies, minimize losses, and adhere to company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent customer service and cash handling skills.
  • Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
