Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks, including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will be crucial in enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers, ensuring exceptional service and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange shelves and displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and support customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash policies, minimize losses, and adhere to company procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent customer service and cash handling skills.
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
