Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional customer experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to ensure efficient store operations and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their store visits.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate stock monitoring.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Uphold company policies, maintain document security, and ensure confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Skilled in general cleaning tasks and following company guidelines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is desirable.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
