Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash-handling policies.
• Follow company policies and uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform general cleaning duties and handle equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register accurately.
• Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
