Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are hiring a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's maintenance, merchandise stocking, cashiering, and customer service. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will enhance the customer shopping experience and contribute to creating a welcoming environment.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Perform cashiering, general cleaning, and merchandise stocking tasks
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and process improvements
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• High school diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
