Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your dedication to exceptional customer service and collaboration with the team will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support a positive shopping experience
  • Communicate effectively and work closely with team members and management
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Follow cash policies, uphold company procedures, and maintain document security

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
  • Experience in retail and familiarity with company policies
  • Excellent communication skills and capacity to work both independently and in a team
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail experience is advantageous
