Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized shopping environment. Your contributions will enhance the overall customer experience and support the store's success.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties and process customer purchases.
• Maintain a neat and organized store, ensuring shelves and merchandise displays are well-stocked.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Contribute to inventory management by conducting regular inventory counts and monitoring accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures to minimize risks and losses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating cash registers and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning duties and following company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet all state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and relevant work experience.
