Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store activities such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with the Aldi team, demonstrate strong customer service skills, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, assist with general cleaning, and maintain organized merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and support a positive shopping experience for customers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Comply with company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment efficiently.
• Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent will be considered.
