Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store maintains high standards of merchandising, customer service, and cleanliness. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, and providing exceptional customer support to enhance the overall shopping experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Offer outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other relevant issues
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies
- Adhere to company policies, ensuring the security and confidentiality of information
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Physical Demands
- Stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform general cleaning tasks
- Engage in various physical activities such as bending, carrying, and standing
- Ability to work with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
- Skilled in equipment operation, cleanliness maintenance, and policy adherence
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient in multitasking
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- A blend of education and work background providing relevant knowledge
