Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our retail operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, stocking shelves, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your role will entail providing exceptional customer service, collaborating with team members, and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases and maintain cleanliness in the store
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist with shopping needs
- Work collaboratively with the team and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to company policies, cash procedures, and uphold data security
Requirements
- Age requirement: 18 years or older
- Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience is a plus
