Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Store Operations Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store activities, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to the smooth operations of the store.
Responsibilities
- Perform cashiering duties and handle customer purchases with efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves and merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and maintain security.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure store operations run smoothly.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning duties as per company standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
