Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will enhance the customer shopping experience and provide exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies, maintain security, and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Experience in retail and general cleaning preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
