Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and maintained to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
• Conduct inventory counts, adhere to cash policies, and follow established procedures
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and lifting up to 45 pounds

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in cash register operation and equipment handling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
