Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a valued team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides excellent customer service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback to improve inventory accuracy and product quality.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and follow company procedures.
• Execute store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and other store equipment.
• Capable of executing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
