Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a key member of our store operations, you will play a vital role in maintaining merchandise displays, assisting customers, and ensuring the store's overall cleanliness and organization.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Execute daily tasks while following ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer transactions, stock shelves, and maintain displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company procedures and maintain data security
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling
• Capable of meeting physical demands such as lifting up to 45 pounds and standing for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
