Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment, all while providing exceptional customer service.
Position Type
Full-Time
Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Assist customers, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively with store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy, adhere to cash policies, and follow company procedures
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Excellent customer service skills
- Efficient cash register operation
- Ability to operate store equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
