Job Description
Join our team at Aldi as a Store Team Member! As part of the team, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. This is a Full-Time position averaging 32-40 hours per week, starting at $17.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties according to ALDI's M.A.P. framework
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and stock shelves neatly
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and perform store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain document confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt, courteous customer service
- Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills
- Ability to follow company policies, maintain cleanliness, and work in a team
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol handling and sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience is a plus
- Equivalent knowledge through a combination of education and experience
