Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Starting Wage

$17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain store security.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Perform various physical tasks within the store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in providing courteous customer service and operating a cash register.
• Capability to use store equipment and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
