Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. You will deliver exceptional customer service by collaborating with the ALDI team and enhancing the shopping experience for our valued customers.

Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping journey
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash management policies and company procedures
• Follow all company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
• Execute general cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Work effectively in a team or independently
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
• Comply with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience is acceptable
