Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. principles in daily tasks
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain product displays
• Provide superior customer service and assist shoppers effectively
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management
• Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures to safeguard data and documents
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capable of meeting company cleanliness standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Adept at working independently and collaboratively
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
• Compliance with state and local alcohol regulations

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
