Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store maintains high standards of merchandising, customer service, and cleanliness. Your responsibilities will include stocking shelves, cashiering, and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professionalism in your daily tasks.
• Assist customers with purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and issues to improve store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
• Adhere to company policies ensuring security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Ability to follow company policies, communicate effectively, and work in a team.
• Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
