Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join ALDI, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our store operates smoothly. As a Store Team Member, you will handle various tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills) in your daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays.
• Provide high-quality customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Communicate clearly with team members and management.
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company procedures and uphold security measures.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Ability to handle store equipment safely and effectively.
• Comfortable with general cleaning tasks and following company protocols.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking professionally.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A blend of education and experience that reflects necessary skills.
