Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, merchandise is stocked, and customers receive exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with team members for a seamless shopping experience.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers effectively
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in accurate store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies and procedures while prioritizing security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and polite customer service
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Aptitude for general cleaning duties and adherence to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Meet state and local alcohol handling requirements

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
