Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is well-maintained. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
• Capable of operating equipment and performing general cleaning tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay organized and multitask effectively
• Compliance with alcoholic beverage selling requirements
Education and Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
