Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store maintains a welcoming environment for customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and upholding the highest standards of customer service.

Position Type

Full-Time, 32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage

$17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
• Capable of operating a cash register accurately
• Ability to use store equipment safely and effectively
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• High school diploma preferred
• Retail experience is a plus
