Job Description
Join our team at Aldi as a Store Team Member, where you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
- Comply with company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Efficient and accurate cash register operation
- Safe and proper equipment operation
- General cleaning to company standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
