Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Your role will involve providing excellent customer service, collaborating with team members, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandising displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts according to guidelines and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.
• Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and provide courteous customer service.
• Capability to safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is preferred.
