Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Weekly Hours: 32-40 hours
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Perform cashier duties, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and customer experiences
• Participate in store inventory procedures and uphold cash handling policies
• Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality of data and documents
• Complete assigned tasks as required

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of meeting physical demands such as lifting up to 45 pounds and standing for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
